Awesome hotel with great service and relaxing location! Wish we could have stayed two nights. They have a ‘maxi bar’ near the reception area that’s open 24/7 to take drinks (beer, soda, water). Just write down your room number and you’re set.
Food was good in the restaurant, just don’t forget to make a reservation since they will get busy with a limited staff.
Wonderful host, great breakfast and dinner opportunities. Rooms were tidy and very modern. Would recommend for a quiet vacation, with lots of activities to have the flexibility of doing something active!
Great place, I came here while hiking the trail in the morning for breakfast, which was totally worth the price, owners were really kind and nice.

The Location is fantastic. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff was super friendly (to us and our dog). The food was really really good. We had the vegetarian/vegan options ans they were very good. The flair of the entire Hotel is very relaxed, modern and cozy. The sound of the river, right behind the balcony, is wonderful.
We stayed at the lodge from Friday to Monday over New Year's Eve. The rooms are very clean and well furnished, the beds had nice thick mattresses, the location was wonderfully quiet. The staff were very friendly throughout. The breakfast with a large selection was very tasty and the New Year's Eve buffet was incredibly delicious. We hadn't expected the large and really tasty selection! The dishes on the menu were also very tasty, we felt very comfortable!
This hotel is excellent! Great food, stunning location, very modern and comfortable inside while it still has all its charm on the outside. Very good wifi. Stunning location. Very friendly staff. If you’re doing the heksenstieg hike I highly recommend picking this hotel as your resting place
